Sajian Sambara: Sundanese Cuisine Palembang Icon Mall

Sajian Sambara is one of the Sundanese cuisine originally from Bandung with the traditional modern family restaurant concept. Sajian means Rumah Makan (re: restaurant) and Sambara means Bumbu (re: ingredients).
Up until now, Sajian Sambara already has 12 branch spreading all over the Indonesia. One of the outlet is located in Palembang, precisely in Palembang Icon Mall (last 2014).
Once we entered the restaurant, we can see directly the food in the counter. So we just need to choose food in the counter and gave them to the waiters, they will cook it in the open-kitchen concept. Once cooked, they will send our orders to designated table.
For me personally, the Gepuk was very legit. It is easy to cut and tasty in mouth. We also can request, either the spicy one or normal. I ordered the spicy one, but for me, the sambal is not spicy as spicy as I imagine. It is more like sweet sambal.
Gepuk (IDR 25k) + Nasi Merah (IDR 10k) + Tempeh Bacem (IDR 5k)
Es Mega Katumbiri is one of the recommended drink. This is actually a juice that consist of 3 different combination flavors, which are (from bottom to top) avocado, mango, and guava. Those are the perfect taste of sweet and sour mixture. A good combination for complement the dish or freshen ourselves when the weather is hot in Palembang.

This restaurant has favorite spot in the outdoor, where we can see the street view from the top. The ambiance is good, even though the space is not too big. It is clean enough and homey.
Overall, according to my opinion, the restaurant had delicious food and highly recommended for family dinner. The price was not expensive either. But I think if there are any lesehan seats, that would be plus point to attract the customers.
